Announcing "Blue Sky" Heisenberg Skull & Bones!
Opening tonight at Gallery 1988 is the "Breaking GIFs" art exhibit, paying tribute to the most intense show on television, AMC's "Breaking Bad". This exhibit is a MUST SEE and is jam packed with artwork from a number of amazing artists including Mike Mitchell, Travis Louie, Lora Zombie, Kyle Norris, and more! Pretty In Plastic has even created a full "Super Lab" installation, turning the gallery itself into Walter's meth lab.
Renowned pop artist and illustrator Tristan Eaton, who recently created the sold-out Breaking Bad-themed tribute watch with Vannen, has collaborated with Pretty in Plastic to bring you this Heisenberg Skull and Crossbones art piece. This is a limited run of 40 pieces in "Hazmat Yellow", and 40 "Black Lung", both retailing for $100 each. Only 20 pieces of the translucent "Blue Sky" version will be available, for $125 each.
Each Heisenberg art piece is signed and numbered, and measures 5 inches tall and 6 inches wide. They are cast in a heavy-duty plastic, manufactured in Los Angeles by Pretty In Plastic, and will be available Monday, August 20th at the Breaking Bad art project show at Gallery 1988.
20% of all proceeds from the show go to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, an amazing organization building Alzheimer's awareness worldwide and contributing funds to research towards better treatments and a future cure.
About Tristan Eaton: Born in Los Angeles in 1978, Tristan began pursuing street art as a teenager, painting everything from billboards to dumpsters in the urban landscape wherever he lived, including London, Detroit and New York. Eaton designed his first toy for Fisher Price at 18 years old and has since become a driving force in the world of 'Designer Toys'. Eaton's design work for Kidrobot, including the infamous Dunny and Munny toys, led him to international fame and an ever growing fan base. As a regular consultant for brands such as Nike, Disney and Barack Obama, Eaton now spends most of his time painting large scale murals and fine art.
Tristan's work can be seen in galleries around the world and in the permanent collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art (MOMA).
